Top Maps and Navigation Apps in Slovakia for Q3 2024

Throughout the third quarter of 2024, the top maps and navigation applications in Slovakia demonstrated distinct trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps saw a decline in its weekly revenue, starting from approximately $8.5K in early July and ending at around $3.2K by the end of September. Its weekly downloads followed a similar downward trajectory, decreasing from about 1.6K to 761 during the same period. The app’s active user base also shrank, starting at 3.3K and falling to 2.6K by the end of the quarter.

Locus Map 4 Outdoor Navigation experienced relatively stable revenue, hovering between $400 and $700 throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads remained steady, peaking at 435 in early August before settling at 353 by the end of September. Active users showed a similar pattern, with numbers fluctuating but ultimately increasing from 879 to 934.

Cyclers: Bike Navigation & Map displayed a mixed performance. Revenue peaked at $768 in early September but later declined to $308 by the end of the quarter. Downloads decreased significantly from 528 in early July to 141 by late September. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, starting at 1.4K and ending at about 1K.

TomTom GO Navigation maintained a consistent revenue stream, beginning at $616 and closing the quarter at $641. Downloads showed a notable spike to 1.1K in mid-July, followed by a decline, ending at 133. Active users increased initially to 1.2K in July but decreased to 408 by the end of September.

Finally, Navionics® Boating registered a decline in revenue from $2.2K to $1.1K over the quarter. Downloads remained relatively low and stable, fluctuating around 100 to 200. Active users also saw little change, closing the quarter slightly higher at 202 compared to 201 at the start.
